After the Vision Meeting in April, the Leadership Team realized that the church was having some significant financial challenges. Although there were lots of contributing factors, (Covid, attendance/giving down, families moving, etc), the situation needed to be addressed immediately.

The good news is that our strategy to reduce expenses, increase generosity, and raise money is working. In addition to now meeting monthly expenses, the church is only $45,000 from being completely debt-free.

This new reality has inspired us to undertake a 12-month debt-elimination initiative to fully pay off the parking lot loan and building mortgage. This will enable the church to be financially agile and able to fully take advantage of whatever God has in store for our next chapter. Plus, "no debt" is an incredible gift for the incoming pastor!

So, will you ask God how he wants you to participate? While there is a financial target, our ultimate aim is 100% church participation. When ordinary people catch God’s vision and pursue it together as one, extraordinary things happen.
